In this warfare, two sides were unfair - equiped in many fields such as supplies and munitions. This battlefield was officially organized from a young army , Vietnam to face to face the French modernly - equipped army. Since then, the battlefield did not last long because the Vietnamese dedications to defeat their enemy who was ruling this wonder land about 100 years
Many martyrs passed away for the country’s independence and freedom, theirs remarkable names imprinted in many streets, in Vietnamse hearts and soul

The immortal revolutionary martyrs
To counterattack the French troops in Lai Chau , a solider with the name, Be Van Dan, a soldier, in 316 Regiment put himself in danger when mostly his teammates passed away. There were only 17 soliders left to fight against their much more soldiers. The machinegun required a stability condition if someone could put connect the missing part with the recent one. Without hesitations, Be Van Dan requested his teammate to put the gun onto his shoulders to form firmly stand and said outloud : Let’s think about the teammates! Fire! Fire!Fire” . As the result, he put his last breath and smiled at the mother land . His name lately was resounding in Vietnam.
The history witnessed there was no one can understand why General Giap decided to pull back all the attilery as soon as finished pulling to front side. So, it would much harder when the gunnerman had to pull heavy attilery out of the front side. Suddenly, a gunnerman whose is Phan Dinh Giot put himself under the tires of attilery when it slided down. He got only one minute to ask for “ Is the attilery ok?” before he closed his eyes forever. His act inspired the whole Vietnamese army to win the battlefield and many school names put his name as well
Thankfully, their sacrifice encouraged the Vietnamese troops from these moments, now and forever.
It is supposed these soliders could walk in a long distance on bata shoes, nevertheless, they lost energy like you ate a bowl of rice
